THE REVELATION OF DAWN

진실한 삶은 이렇게

"추위에 떨어본 사람일수록
태양의 따뜻함을 알고
인생의 괴로움을 겪어온 사람일수록
생명의 존귀함을 안다"고
어떤 시인은 말했지요.   자신의 생명을 건
실천에서 스며나온 말은
한마디 한마디가 사람들의
마음속에 등불이 되어 빛날 것입니다.
늘 배우는 마음으로 살았으면...   나이들어 가는 것은 어찌 보면
열정을 잃어 가는 삶일 수도 있습니다.   그리고 궁금해지는 일도 많아 지고
섭섭한 일도 많아 지고
때론 노파심으로 말이 많아 질 수도 있습니다.

 

경험한 수많은 사건들로 진중해 지고
노련해 지기도 하지만
그 경험들이 스스로를 얽어매여
굳어진 마음이 될 수도 있습니다.
너그럽고 지켜볼 수 있는
아량을 갖게 되었으면 좋겠습니다
나이는 먹어도 스스로의 모자람을
인정할 수 있는 여유도 갖고 싶습니다.
위엄은 있으나 친절하고
어두워지는 눈으로도
늘 배우는 마음으로 살았으면 좋겠습니다.
